Pippo Pollina

It was almost 30 years ago that Linard Bardill, strolling through Lucerne, approached a young street musician whose skills obviously inspired Bardill. The course was set for Pippo Polina's career. He quickly made a name for himself as a sensitive and extremely poetic songwriter. Album followed album and after just a few years he was sharing stages and projects with greats such as Georges Moustaki, Angelo Branduardi and Konstantin Wecker. After quite a while we are overjoyed to finally welcome this one-of-a-kind songsmith back at the Festival.
